Go to “Google Account Recovery.” In the window that pops up, type in the email address you’re trying to access and then click “Next.” Select “Try another way” from the prompt that appears. Request a verification code to your linked mobile phone number or backup email address.

To confirm, type in your Google account password and click Enter. That’s all there is to it; you’ll be able to access your account without requiring a verification code on any device now that 2-step verification has been disabled.

If you don’t know the Gmail/Google account login credentials or have trouble signing in to your Gmail/Google account, you’ll need to do Account Recovery. There is no alternative method. Check the password managers in your browser or on your device if you’ve forgotten your passwords.

Click the “Forgot Password” option on the Gmail sign-in screen. enter the password that you last recall. If you can’t remember one, try selecting “Try a different question.

Go to voice.google.com. Sign in to your Google Account. Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before clicking Continue. Select a city or zip code from the drop-down menu below the number you want. Select a number by pressing Select next to it. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
