If you wish to appeal our enforcement action on your YouTube account/video(s), please submit a signed copy of the following form, along with any supporting documents or statements:
To reinstate removed videos from your channel you will need to make changes to their content so they no longer violate Community Guidelines or Terms of Service and then repost them. We understand that this may not be possible in all circumstances, which is why we try to only remove content and videos that violate our policies.
Once your submissions are reviewed, you’ll receive an email letting you know the status of your request . If there’s no change in your account status, you’ll be notified via email with the reason for denial within one week; if there will be a change in your account status, you’ll be notified with instructions on how to proceed within one week.
If you haven’t received a reply to your appeal within 30 days, please send us an email at [email protected] with the subject line “YouTube Copyright Appeal” and we’ll be happy to look into it for you.
In order for this form to be accepted, all required fields must be completed. Please note that submitting an appeal does not guarantee that we will reinstate your account. If your account is found eligible for reinstatement, appeals are processed in the order they were received. We’ll update you on the status of your request as appropriate via email .
If you need to sign in on your Android, here’s how:Open the YouTube app and tap on Account.Then tap Sign-in and choose an account or add a new one.
There is a policy for inactive accounts that includes not logging in to the site for at least six months.
If you’ve forgotten your username or password for YouTube, go to YouTube.com and sign in on the right-hand side of the page. Enter your login information either by clicking “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password”. Select the next option that follows such as taking a new quiz challenge to verify your account and click “Reset My Password!”
If you want to remove an email address from your list, please use the “Edit” option. If you do not have access to the associated Google account, we are unable to make changes for you.
Just like Gmail, when you close a YouTube account, your username becomes permanently unavailable for use.
