The game is set in a nightmarish environment that resembles the taste of H. R. Giger. The player will be able to explore the interconnected regions in non-linear way, while solving puzzles and understanding stories at each location. There are no cut-scenes, and the storytelling entirely relies on the gameplay. So, the player must be conscious during the game so they don’t miss any important materials.
For immersive play, Ebb Software is making in-game interactions with the world to be realistic. For example, picking up an object will actually use the character’s hands instead of floating in midair. Also, there is no HUD to assist the player. All factors are indicated and implied by the environmental design of the game.
With its distinct concept and art, Scorn is gathering interest from various gamers. It is currently on Steam Greenlight, and will be released in 2017.
