In a surprising move, Huawei’s fitness tracker wristwear the Honor Band 4 Series reveals itself as it has already been launched in China. Apparently, the Honor Band 4 Series comes in two variants, a Standard Edition, and a running edition. These wearables are currently available over various e-commerce sites for pre-order. These bands can be connected to the user’s smartphones. The user may take/reject calls or make payments using the Honor Band 4 series apart from the regular fitness use. In this post, we will take a detailed glance at the Honor Band 4 Series.
Both the variants of the Honor band will go on sale in a few days. If you want to know about its design, price, pre-sale date, and everything, then keep scrolling. The wristband is of Silica material and the casing is of plastic. Obviously, we get a touchscreen OLED display. We expect these fitness bands to be waterproof. The primary features of the Standard edition wristband will be the heart-rate sensor, 6-axis inertial sensor, NFC, sleep monitoring, walking step-counter, caller ID etc. Besides to fulfill day to day requirements it can provide call, message, e-mail notifications. We expect the upcoming Honor Band will support the mobile payment. On the other hand, the Running edition will only pack the 6-axis motion sensor.
The standard edition band will have a battery of 100 mAh while the running edition will pack a 77 mAh battery. Both the devices will support Android OS 4.4 KitKat and above. They also support iOS 9 and above. The OEM claims both these devices will charge themselves in around 1.5 hours.
The Honor band 4 series Standard Edition will go on sale on September 20th 10 AM local time. The standard edition will cost CNY 199 (Rs 2,090/-). Now coming to the Honor Band 4 Series Running Edition, it will begin Pre-sales on 11th September. It will cost CNY 99(Rs 1,039/-). The standard edition of this Honor 4 band will come in three colors, Meteorite Black, Midnight Blue, and Coral powder. The running edition will be available in two variants, insulin green, and red.
