It looks like the smartphone manufacturer stepping away from wide notches. An American company Essential and a Japanese smartphone company sharp already offers small notch design from the beginning. Now the Oppo, a Chinese smartphone company joined the list with Oppo F9. Recently, A device from Huawei Honor appeared on TENAA with ARE-AL00 model number. There are speculations that the spotted devices could be Honor 8X. According to the shared image by TENAA, the phone has small V-shaped notch design on top of the display.

However, the specifications of the phone are not listed on TENAA, yet. But it shared few images to look at the design.

Huawei Honor ARE-AL00 comes with a notch design which is totally different in design from the company’s recently launched phones, Honor 9i/ 9N, Honor 10, Honor Play. The notched design on the top of the display comes with small V shape or water droplet which carries a front-facing camera. At the first glance, the notch design looks like the Oppo F9 notch but its slightly bigger than the Oppo’s phone. There is a thick bezel on the bottom of the display which has the company’s brand name on it, Honor.

On the back side, the spotted device comes with the vertically placed dual camera sensors at the top left corner and LED flash below the cameras. There is a fingerprint scanner to on the rear panel in the middle of the phone. It looks like the company used the rear Glass panel which is not used in Honor X series so far. It has the volume rocker and power button on the right side of the phone and on the left side, there is a SIM Tray port.

In the recent past, the Huawei Honor device with the same ARE-AL00 model number certified by the 3C. It revealed that the phone will support 18W fast charging charger. However, there is no word when the company unveil this phone. The phone expected to be powered by Kirin 710 chipset.
