The original Injustice came out in 2013 and was based in an alternate universe where the Joker tricked Superman into killing Lois Lane. Following that, Superman creates a new world order and Batman creates a team to stop him.
In addition to the heroes that were introduced in the original Injustice, several new characters will be added – including Gorilla Grodd and Atrocitus.
If you have the Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game, you can unlock Injustice 2 skins for Superman and Aquaman through in-game challenge modes.
The game is set to release in 2017 for Xbox One and Playstation 4. Hopefully we will see more of Injustice 2 at E3 next week.
